L 140 DE-BUG FUEL DECONTAMINATION UNIT
Incidental Information
The L 140 De-Bug unit is easily installed to the suction side of a diesel engine's fuel
system, as close to the fuel tanks possible. Every time the fuel passes through the L 140
De-Bug unit is treated, thus providing systematic control of microbial contaminants. The L
140 De-Bug unit is not a filter, it is a static fuel treatment unit.
The L 140 De-Bug unit requires little maintenance, and provided the unit is fitted, and used, the L 140 De-Bug unit is guaranteed to significantly reduce microbial contamination. The L 140 De-Bug unit is unconditionally guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year (12 months).
NOTE: Disassembly voids all guarantees and warranties.

L 1000 DE-BUG FUEL DECONTAMINATION UNIT
Incidental Information
The L 1000 De-Bug unit is easily installed to the suctions side of a diesel engine's
fuel system, as close to the fuel tank as possible. Every time the fuel passes through the
L 1000 De-Bug unit it is treated, thus providing a systematic control of microbial
contaminants. The L 1000 De-Bug unit is not a filter, it is a static fuel treatment
unit.
The L 1000 De-Bug unit requires little maintenance. Sludge and water will settle in the bowl which can be drained out at regular intervals using the drain plug fitted to the bowl base. Should metal from fuel tanks congregate on the magnets the bowl may be removed by releasing the bowl retaining bolt, at the base of the unit, and removing the cover. When reassembling the L 1000 De-Bug unit, ensure the plastic bowl gasket is in place under the bowl and both washers are fitted to the retaining bolt before tightening the retaining bolt to 50 psi of torque. The air bleeds screw on the lid can be used for bleeding air from the fuel lines after fitting the unit. This unit is available in two models to accommodate desired flow direction: The L1000 (flow direction left to right) and the LR1000 (flow direction right to left). The flow direction is referenced from a front view of the unit, with the ports on the left and right sides.
Provided the unit is properly fitted, and used, the L 1000
De-Bug unit is guaranteed to significantly reduce microbial decontamination. The L 1000
De-Bug unit is unconditionally guaranteed against against manufacturing defects for one
year (12 months).
The ESI Clean Fuel System uses this model exclusively.
